Pacific Green to acquire Polish battery pair

Pacific Green Technologies is acquiring a majority stake in two Polish battery energy storage schemes. The assets offer 400MWh of storage capacity and are expected to reach ready-to-build status by late 2024. The company plans to deliver over 12GWh of battery energy storage across four global markets, including Poland. The Polish energy storage market is expanding rapidly due to the transition to non-dispatchable renewable assets.
