Pacific Green to acquire Polish battery pair

Pacific Green Technologies plans to acquire a majority stake in two Polish battery energy storage schemes. The projects are set to offer 400MWh of storage capacity and will be developed in Poland. The developments aim to contribute to the country's transition to non-dispatchable renewable assets in line with EU obligations. The projects are expected to be ready for construction by late 2024, targeting participation in the Polish Capacity Market Auction.
