Panasonic testing smart thermostats in residential heat pumps

Panasonic integrates home energy management solutions to its Aquarea air-to-water heat pumps using smart thermostats and the Heat Pump Optimizer X system from tado. The solution optimizes heating efficiency, adjusts electricity usage based on renewable energy availability, and uses weather forecasts for efficient operation.
