Perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell based on hybrid interconnecting layers achieves 28.47% efficiency

Researchers at Jinan University in China developed a two-terminal perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell with hybrid interconnecting layers to improve efficiency and reduce leakage current. The device achieved an efficiency of 28.47% with NiOx/MeO-2PACz SAM hybrid ICLs, showcasing high fill factor and performance.
