Photon locks EBRD funding for VPP biz, new solar in Romania

Amsterdam-based renewables developer Photon Energy NV has obtained EUR 15 million in debt financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to support its growth in Romania and construction of 29 MWp of solar projects in the Balkan country. The financing will also be used to expand demand response services and participate in capacity market auctions in Romania.
