Pine Gate, Meta sign 204MW Texas solar agreement

Pine Gate Renewables has signed an environmental asset purchase agreement with Meta for a 204MW solar PV project in Temple, Texas. Meta is committed to sourcing 100% of its electricity needs from renewable power sources. The project is expected to come online in 2026. Ben Catt, CEO of Pine Gate Renewables, highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in the current environment. Meta has also engaged in solar PPAs and EAPAs in the US with other companies like Solarpack and Arevon.
