Plenitude lands 10-year wind PPA with steel firm Ferriera Valsabbia

Eni Plenitude SpA signed a corporate PPA with Ferriera Valsabbia, linking to a 15-MW wind farm in southern Italy. Ferriera Valsabbia will procure energy generated by Plenitude-owned wind farm in Sannicandro di Bari, Apulia region. The wind energy will be supplied for ten years starting from September 2024. The wind farm is expected to generate over 350 GWh. Ferriera Valsabbia manufactures rebar from scrap iron and aims to increase renewable energy consumption. Plenitude aims to have over 8 GW installed capacity by 2027 and over 15 GW by 2030.
