PNE launches PPA tender for industrial consumers

PNE, an energy company based in Cuxhaven, Germany, has launched a tender scheme for companies in Germany to purchase green electricity through long-term power purchase agreements (PPA). The tendering process, supported by Enervis, will start in June and aims to be completed by October. PNE plans to generate over 300 gigawatt hours per year from 2026 across wind and solar farms. Markus Lesser is the CEO of PNE, emphasizing the benefits of PPAs for industrial customers. Roland Stanze, Head of Commercial Solutions at PNE, highlights the advantages of PPAs for both electricity customers and PNE in expanding their industrial network.
