Polar Racking building US solar mount manufacturing facilities

Polar Racking, a Canada-based company, is expanding its manufacturing operations in the USA by adding two facilities in Michigan and Florida. The company aims to reach over 1 GW of tracker and fixed-tilt capacity by mid-2024. The construction of these facilities will create 10 jobs each with potential for growth. Polar Racking emphasizes the importance of US facilities to mitigate shipping lead time risks and have more control over the supply chain. The expansion is in response to the Inflation Reduction Act's domestic content requirements to support the government's initiative of re-shoring the PV supply chain.
