RenewableUK's new polling shows overwhelming public support for cross-party consensus on maximizing investment in renewable energy projects in the UK to drive down consumer bills and increase energy security. The analysis indicates that an electricity system dominated by offshore wind by 2035 would be cheaper for bill-payers. Scrapping net zero ambitions in favor of unabated gas would result in consumers being worse off financially.
