Public input sought for 350-MW Aussie solar project by X-Elio

The Australian government has opened public consultations for a 350-MW solar park with a two-hour battery energy storage system in Queensland’s Western Downs region. The project is initiated by Spain-based renewables developer X-Elio and aims to contribute to decarbonisation goals. The proposed Sixteen Mile solar farm will connect to the grid via a new powerline and support grid reliability through its battery system.
