Pylontech to open battery factory in Italy

Pylontech, a China-based lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplier, plans to build a storage system manufacturing facility in Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco, Italy in collaboration with Energy Spa. Their joint venture, Pylon LiFeEU S.r.l., will operate the facility. Energy Spa, listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market, specializes in energy storage solutions for residential and large-scale applications. The new facility aims to develop and market energy storage products in Europe, enhancing the supply chain security. Pylontech Vice President Geoffrey Song highlighted the importance of localized production for securing partnerships in Europe.
