Qcells to adopt Lumet’s metallisation technology for PV cells

Lumet, part of Israel’s Landa Group, introduces fine-line metallisation technology for Qcells’ PV solar cell lines. The technology aims to reduce finger width, silver usage, costs, and light shading, increasing efficiency. Qcells, under Hanwha Solutions Corp, will be the first to deploy this technology. Danielle Merfeld, CTO at Qcells, praises the breakthrough technology for its record-setting features and suitability for USA-based manufacturing expansion.
