Caloundra, Australia, will house a Local Renewable Energy Zone (LREZ), with plans to triple rooftop solar PV generation. The pilot project involves deploying battery energy storage systems, solar PV, and demand management. The State government allocated funds to support the renewable energy transition, focusing on Sunshine Coast rooftops.
