Queensland earmarks AU$26 billion investment for renewables

Steven Miles, premier of Queensland, Australia, announced an investment of AU$26 billion towards the state’s Energy and Jobs Plan to boost renewable energy, storage, and transmission. The plan includes allocation for renewable energy projects, construction of a 'SuperGrid,' network batteries, and Transmission and Training Hubs. It aims to reduce emissions by 75% by 2035 and source 80% of energy from renewables. Queensland is witnessing development in large-scale renewable energy projects.
