R.Power secures US$58 million for 72MW Polish PV portfolio

R.Power, a Polish independent power producer, signed a PLN231 million deal with the Polish Development Bank to develop a 72MWp solar PV portfolio in various regions of Poland. The portfolio is contracted under long-term power purchase agreements. Operations and maintenance will be handled by Nomad Electric Services. Tomasz Sęk, co-founder and board member at R.Power, highlighted the partnership with the Polish Development Bank. R.Power also has plans to build a 134MW PV portfolio in Poland and received financial support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund.
