R.Power starts up 4.8-MWp solar park in Portugal

R.Power Renewables has commissioned a 4.8-MWp solar photovoltaic farm in Portugal. The solar park in Serta City, Castelo Branco district, consists of more than 8,600 bifacial PV modules and is estimated to generate 8.4 GWh per year. The PV plant's output will be sold under a power purchase agreement with an unnamed offtaker. Nomad Electric built the plant, while Nomad Electric Services is responsible for its operation and maintenance. R.Power plans to put into operation six more projects in Portugal.
