ReCreate, a joint venture between US-based Create Energy and EU-based Recom Technologies, plans to build a 5 GW solar module and cell manufacturing facility in Portland, Tennessee. The company will source solar cells from Asia, excluding China and may import cells from Korea. The modules produced are part of a combined package from Create Solutions. ReCreate will initially produce TOPCon panels and might add HJT or BC products. The future includes 'next-gen' PV systems using canopy and rooftop solar, battery energy storage, and site-load monitoring with EV charging solutions. Create Energy is focused on energy storage and microgrid markets with NanoGrid as its first product. ReCreate aims to provide complete EV, PV, and BESS solutions to the North American & EU Markets.
