Redflow comissions 30 kWh zinc-bromine flow battery project in Australia

Brisbane City Council has selected a Redflow battery for energy resilience at Willawong Animal Rehoming Centre. The flow battery project includes Deye hybrid inverters for future solar system addition. This initiative is part of the 'Better Brisbane Proposals' to enhance resiliency at government sites. Redflow's CEO Tim Harris sees recycling as a key future aspect. Flow batteries offer longer cycle life, scalability, and recycling advantages over lithium-ion batteries.
