Remote telecom towers powered by 10 kW hydrogen generators

Hydrogen fuel cell manufacturer Energys Australia has installed a 10 kW renewable hydrogen generator at Neerim North as part of a pilot project with Telstra in Victoria. The generator has enough renewable hydrogen for a 72-hour running capacity. Victoria's Gas Substitution Roadmap highlights the importance of renewable hydrogen in the energy transition. Telstra's pilot project aims to assess the role of renewable hydrogen in ensuring energy resilience.
