Renewables firm EEW gives SPAC merger another try

UK-based renewable energy developer EEW Renewables Ltd is merging with Compass Digital Acquisition Corp, a SPAC, in a deal valued at USD 386 million pro forma enterprise value. EEW focuses on Europe and Australia, originated solar projects and expanded to battery energy storage systems and green hydrogen projects. The merger is expected to accelerate EEW's growth and transition it to an IPP.
