Repsol, Microsoft ink Spanish renewables supply deal

Repsol and Microsoft have signed virtual PPAs for renewable energy in Spain. Repsol plans to expand its renewable power business with a target of 9000-10,000MW by 2027. Microsoft aims to source 100% of its energy from renewable sources by 2025. The companies collaborate on digital solutions and Repsol provides renewable energy to Microsoft in Spain. Repsol will invest €3-4bn to achieve its growth objectives including expansion in Chile and Italy.
