RES has submitted a planning application for a 29.9-MW solar farm near Magheralin, Northern Ireland. The proposed location offers good solar irradiation and is near a viable grid connection. The project design incorporates community feedback and includes modifications to blend into the landscape better. If approved, the solar farm will generate electricity sufficient for around 13,600 homes annually, aligning with Northern Ireland's renewable energy goals.
