Fifteen researchers from Monash University, the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, and the City University of Hong Kong made a breakthrough to enhance the reliability and efficiency of perovskite solar cells (PSC) through a self-healing mechanism. The novel strategy addresses critical issues related to defect passivation in perovskites, resulting in solar cells with 25.1% power conversion efficiency and remarkable stability under environmental stressors like moisture and heat.
