Ridge Clean wins planning nod for 39-MW Yorkshire PV park

British renewables developer Ridge Clean Energy has been granted planning approval to construct a 39-MW solar park with storage capacity in Yorkshire, Northern England. The Three Oaks Renewable Energy Park will supply electricity to more than 8,600 local homes per year. The project includes an integrated battery energy storage system and community benefit fund. Ridge Clean Energy's portfolio consists of 10 renewable energy park schemes with onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage technologies.
