Rolls-Royce to supply 32.6-MW battery at Dutch wind farm

Rolls-Royce Holdings announced an order to provide a battery storage system for the Zeewolde wind farm in the Netherlands. The project includes a 10-year maintenance agreement and aims to support the customer in energy trading and grid services markets. The wind farm and the battery farm are owned by farmers, residents, and entrepreneurs in the Zeewolde area. Another battery project, the BES Vogelweg Zeewolde BV development, is seeking final investment.
