Rompetrol Rafinare’s results, influenced by market volatility and the turnaround of the Petromidia refinery

Rompetrol Rafinare, a member company of the KMG International Group, recorded a gross turnover of 1.1 billion USD in the first quarter of 2024, with operational profit at 33.2 million USD. The results were impacted by market volatility and the turnaround of the Petromidia refinery. Despite production stoppages, Rompetrol Rafinare continued to supply fuels to the domestic market and supported subsidiaries in the Republic of Moldova, Georgia, and Bulgaria.
