RWE opens community consultation on 350MW battery storage project in Wales, UK

RWE has proposed a 350MW battery energy storage system (BESS) next to Pembroke Power Station in Wales, UK. The system includes 212 battery containers and 106 power conversion systems to connect to the UK power grid. A pre-application consultation is ongoing. Richard Little from Pembroke Net Zero Centre emphasized the commitment to environmental responsibility.
