RWE secures land for O&M base in Poland

RWE and the Ustka Port Authority signed a land lease agreement for constructing an operations and maintenance base for the FEW Baltic 2 offshore wind farm. The base will have a service life of at least 30 years. The administration building will meet the sustainability certification standard BREEAM. The base will be used for monitoring the wind farm and creating local job opportunities. Maciej Karaś, president of the Ustka Seaport Authority, highlighted the long-standing cooperation with RWE and the strategic importance of offshore wind farms in Poland.
