RWE starts construction of 20-MWp solar farm in Germany

German energy group RWE AG has started construction on a 20-MWp photovoltaic plant in Bedburg, North Rhine-Westphalia. The solar park aims to supply electricity to 5,400 households and is part of RWE's EUR 11 billion investment in green generation capacity in Germany by 2030, with multiple solar and wind projects already operational in the region.
