Salzgitter to buy power from 180-MWp solar park in Germany

Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, a subsidiary of German steel producer Salzgitter AG, will procure electricity from a 180-MWp solar park in Brandenburg. They signed a PPA with RWE Supply & Trading for 64 GWh annual green electricity supply starting in 2027. Their low-carbon transformation aims for carbon-free production by 2033.
