Scientists set new efficiency target for monolithic perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell

A team of University of Sydney researchers, led by Professor Anita Ho-Baillie, is pushing the energy conversion efficiency for a perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell to 40%. They achieved a milestone of 30% efficiency and are now aiming for higher efficiency with funding from ARENA. SunDrive is working with the project for commercialization potential.
