Scotland joins UK marine data platform

The Marine Data Exchange platform now includes data on offshore enterprises in Scottish waters, following an agreement between the Crown Estate and Crown Estate Scotland. This extension will benefit developers in UK waters by providing a more streamlined dataset for offshore developments. The platform, created by The Crown Estate in 2013, offers freely available survey data, research, and evidence for seas around UK. The inclusion of Scottish data will support the faster roll-out of offshore technologies critical to the UK's energy transition.
