Scottish HVDC links project makes progress

SSEN Transmission and Hitachi Energy have secured contracts for pre-construction activities for the HVDC Converter System for subsea links between the Scottish mainland and the Western Isles. The projects aim to unlock Scotland's renewable energy potential to support national net zero and energy security ambitions by 2030.
