Scottish ports form offshore wind alliance

Scottish ports have formed the Scottish Offshore Wind Ports Alliance (SOWPA) to optimize opportunities from offshore wind. The alliance aims to enhance regional competitiveness, drive efficiencies, and support the UK's offshore wind industry through collaboration. Members include Port of Nigg, Ardersier, Port of Cromarty Firth, Port of Aberdeen, and Stornoway. Private investment, backed by the Scottish Government, is important for the growth of the sector.
