Serbia, KfW sign deal for second phase of biomass project

Serbia's government signed a 32 million euro deal with German development bank KfW for the second phase of a biomass market project. The project aims to develop biomass heating systems in several Serbian municipalities to reduce pollution levels. It is funded by grants from the EU Regional Program for Energy Efficiency, the German government, and the EU Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, along with a 20 million euro loan from KfW.
