Serbia's Saraorci solar project completes first 10 MW phase - report

The first phase of a 9.86 MW solar power plant in Saraorci, near the Serbian central city of Smederevo, has been completed, with the second phase to add 1.5 MW being planned. Germany’s AVR Solar Park, in collaboration with China's Power Construction Corporation, built the facility. Bojan Lazic, chief engineer at AVR Solar Park, mentioned plans for more projects. Another solar power plant in Obrenovac with a 9.95 MW capacity is set to begin construction in June 2024.
