Shedding light on tandem perovskite solar cell progress

On Jan. 31, 2024, Fraunhofer ISE and Oxford PV created a full-sized perovskite tandem module with a 25% conversion efficiency. The novel multispectral solar simulator played a crucial role in measuring solar cells. The project named 'Katana' characterized perovskite tandem PV cells and identified challenges, such as ion migration and temperature impact.
