Shell inks deal for ITM electrolysers for 100-MW German project

UK electrolysers manufacturer ITM Power Plc's technology selected by Shell plc for the 100-MW Refhyne II electrolyser project in Germany. The plant at Shell Deutschland GmbH’s Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland will produce up to 44,000 kg of green hydrogen daily, reducing carbon footprint of Shell’s refinery. Linde Plc chosen as EPC contractor for the project, to be commissioned in 2027.
