Siemens Gamesa reported a loss of €365m for Q2 2024, a slight improvement from last year's €386m. Order volumes dropped significantly to €881m from €3,643m the previous year, influenced by temporary sales halts and a lack of large orders. The order backlog reduced to €39bn, and revenues were down due to poor performance in onshore and service sectors, though partially offset by growth in offshore areas. The larger losses this year were primarily driven by high production costs and operational challenges.
