SMA lowers sales and earnings forecast for 2024

SMA Solar Technology AG revised its sales and earnings forecasts downwards due to market volatility and delayed increase in incoming orders. The company expects sales between €1.55 billion and €1.700 billion, and EBITDA between €80 and €130 million. The Large Scale & Project Solutions segment is expected to have a strong increase in sales and EBITDA. Uncertainty in the market is attributed to European and upcoming U.S. elections. SMA plans to publish its 2024 half-year report on August 8.
