SMA presents Sunny Central Flex for solar, battery storage and hydrogen electrolysers at Intersolar 2024

SMA Solar Technology has launched its new Sunny Central FLEX platform solution for solar PV, battery energy storage, and hydrogen electrolysers, presented at Intersolar 2024 in Munich, Germany. The platform enables grid connections for various renewable energy sources and uses silicon carbide in the central inverters to boost converters. The platform solution emphasizes modular and flexible system design, ease of integration with DC-DC converters, and grid-forming capabilities for solar-plus-storage hybrid systems.
