German photovoltaic (PV) and battery inverters maker SMA Solar Technology AG announced plans for major restructuring and cost reduction programme to save up to EUR 200 million. CEO Jurgen Reinert emphasized the importance of stabilizing the company financially and realigning the business strategy. The initiative will focus on improving profitability, reducing costs, adjusting the operational structure, and repositioning on the market.
