SMA Solar reports ‘solid’ H1 2024 results, led by Americas and utility-scale businesses

German solar inverter manufacturer SMA Solar reported sales of €759.3 million in the first half of the year, down from €778.9 million in the first half of 2023. The company's financial performance worsened, with earnings before inflation falling. SMA Solar's utility-scale business flourished despite challenges in the European market. Europe accounted for a large portion of SMA Solar's sales, with a shift towards the Americas market. SMA Solar expects lower sales but considerable earnings by the end of the year.
