SMA unveils hybrid inverters for residential applications

SMA introduced new one-phase hybrid inverters for residential rooftop projects at Intersolar Europe in Germany. The Sunny Boy Smart Energy line ranges from 3.6 kW to 6 kW, featuring high efficiency and fast battery charging capability. With IP65 protection, the inverters support a temperature range of -25 C to 60 C and come with lithium-ion batteries.
