SmartestEnergy Australia pens PPA for Neoen-owned 440MW New South Wales solar PV project

French independent power producer Neoen has signed a four-year power purchase agreement with SmartestEnergy Australia for 50% of the energy generated from the 440MW Culcairn Solar Farm in New South Wales. The farm, located 45km north of Albury, will have a 30-year operational lifespan. Neoen secured development consent for the project from the New South Wales Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. The PPA aims to support the renewable energy transition in Australia.
