Solar system in Austria protects berries and allows citizen participation

A farmer in Pyhra, Lower Austria, named Johann Deix, covered part of his berry plantation with semi-transparent solar modules to extend the harvest season. The solar system not only protects the berries from elements but also provides electricity for self-consumption. Johann Deix used a citizen participation model for financing, offering supporters raspberry Prosecco and raspberries in return.
