SolarDuck, Tokyu Land build Japan’s first offshore floating PV project

SolarDuck and Tokyu Land completed an offshore floating solar PV project in Japan's Tokyo Bay Area. The project aims to power Open Street Corporation's electric fleet using energy stored in a nearby BESS unit. SolarDuck plans to deploy 1GW of renewable energy by 2030 with its offshore solar technology. They are also involved in a project in the Netherlands with RWE to build a 5MW offshore floating solar system.
