Spain: Covestro and bp conclude solar PPA

Covestro and bp have signed a ten-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for electricity from a solar park in Spain. This agreement will increase the share of renewable energy in Covestro's total electricity consumption in Spain to around 30 percent. Covestro's aim is to convert its production to 100% renewable energy by the end of 2035. The latest contract will significantly reduce Covestro's CO2 emissions by approximately 16,000 tons per year.
