Spain greenlights 3.5 GW of solar, wind projects in Q2 2024

Spain granted permits to 3,526.5 MW of new solar and wind power projects during the second quarter of 2024. Most approved capacity is set in five regions of Spain. Additionally, energy storage and hydroelectric projects were also approved. The Spanish ministry dismissed projects due to various reasons.
